Every three years in Munich. The next edition follows the established triennial cadence.
No — although industrial equipment is the largest sector, there is a strong artisan and craft-bakery section. Smaller bakeries find IBA highly relevant.
An international baking competition held alongside IBA. National teams compete in artistic baking, viennoiserie and bread categories. The competition draws large crowds and demonstrates the highest standards in the craft.
Südback is a smaller annual German bakery fair in Stuttgart. IBA is the global event held less frequently with much wider international participation.
